Tamara Berisha
Tamara Berisha, MS, LAc

Tamara Berisha, M.S., L.Ac. is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the states of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. She has 20 years of experience in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Massage Therapy and Nutrition. Tamara emphasizes a compassionate approach that takes into account the patient’s entire lifestyle. Her acupuncture, massage, herbal and nutrition treatments are designed to help patients get to the root cause of their discomfort, whether it be an acute or chronic condition.

Tamara holds a Master of Science Degree in Acupuncture and an Associates degree in Massage Therapy from the Swedish Institute of Health Sciences, in Manhattan, one of first schools in the country to teach Classical Chinese Acupuncture. Tamara studied Chinese Herbal Medicine, Medical Essential Oils and Chinese Dietary Therapy under the guidance of world renowned teacher Jeffrey Yuen, a Taoist doctor and priest. She also studied advanced Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies and Western Herbal Medicine through the Vermont Center of Integrative Herbalism. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.

In addition to these courses of study, she also has taken interest in Sports Medicine and Pain Management She completed a two year program in Zheng Gui Tui Na, which is an extensive program incorporating acupuncture, massage therapy and herbal medicine for sports injuries, over-use injuries and performance. She has also studied an advanced program in women’s health, infertility and pregnancy related issues. While living in Manhattan she work at an exclusive women’s health center and attended over 40 births using massage therapy, acupuncture and doula services to support the birthing mother.

 

Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, Tamara grew up in Hunterdon County and is now raising her 3 children here.

Tamara also lectures on Integrative Medicine and Chinese Medicine to build awareness within the medical and local community.

Eileen M. Egan-Russo, MS, LAc

Eileen M. Egan-Russo is a licensed Acupuncturist holding the title, Doctor of Acupuncture in New Jersey and New York and is currently a Diplomat of the NCCAOM and NJAAOM. She is also a licensed Medical Massage Therapist in New York State and holds a certification in massage therapy Nationally.

After obtaining a BA in Art after high school, she began to pursue her additional passion in healthcare by undertaking many of the intense obstacles that the wellness industry presented  beginning with a Massage Therapy Degree from the Swedish Institute of Health Sciences in New York. This was followed by a BS in Psychology from the College of Staten Island graduating magna cum laude.  She then underwent the comprehensive education of Chinese Medicine and became a proud graduate of the Pacific College of Health Sciences for Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in New York and San Diego. 

Over the last 25 years, Eileen has obtained numerous certifications including, but not limited to: additional acupuncture techniques, massage therapy, exercise and physical rehabilitation, trauma care, pregnancy and cancer protocols, through the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) AMTA (American Massage Assoc.), NASM (National Assoc. of Sports Medicine), ACE (American Council of Exercise) and others. She is CPR, AED  and first aid certified and has over 380 hours of volunteer work in community sporting events, marathons, triathlons, special population events, hospice care,  and was a part of the emergency response team during 9/11.  She has worked alongside many biomedical and Eastern medical practitioners during her career, affording her a vast knowledge of medical procedures and terminology which allows her to communicate with most doctors and health care professionals as an advocate for her patients. Her unique knowledge of both Eastern and Western medicine allows for a comprehensive opportunity to benefit the population she cares for. 

With the support of her husband, three children, family, friends and the hundreds of patients and clients who she has had the privilege of interacting with, she strives to be a part of a future where integrative medicine will be a staple in everyone's life.

Stefanie Layman, LMT, LE

Stefanie graduated from the Institute of Therapeutic Massage in Red Bank, NJ in 2007 where she completed the Massage and Bodywork Program, which focuses on Anatomy & Physiology, Myology, Pathology and various different massage modalities. She has  experience with Swedish, Medical, Neuromuscular massage and uses various modalities such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release therapy, reflexology, assisted stretching and energetic techniques to address the needs of each client. 

 

​Stefanie is also a Graduate of David Winston’s Center for Herbal Studies, and is in the process of becoming a clinical Herbalist. She offers Herbal consultations for those looking for a holistic approach to treating their issues. Stefanie also has tea workshops she offers throughout the year where she explains the value of each herb used within the tea blend and sends you home with samples from that workshop. 


Modalities: Medical, Sports, Assisted Stretching Techniques, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, Myofascial Release, Reflexology and Warm Bamboo massage.
